Event: Vote Kelly! fundraiser (http://www.votekelly.com)

Overview: Tampa City Council Candidate Kelly Benjamin hosts a campaign dinner and party fundraiser. A fabulous gourmet dinner will be served at 7 p.m. in the north courtyard. A half hour later, Mr. Benjamin will address attendees on his continuing effort to bring significant progressive change to the Tampa City Council. The meal is $20 per plate. To participate please RSVP Susan Torok at (813) 902-1276.

Afterwards, beginning at 8:15 p.m., a rocking campaign party will be held in the South courtyard with live music and djs plus appearances by special guests and political candidates. Those invited to speak include mayoral candidates Frank Sanchez, Don Ardell, Pam Iorio, and Neil Cosentino as well as City Council candidates Ali Akbar, Joe Robinson, Curtis Stokes, Carole Mehlman, John Dingfelder, and Joe Redner. Admission is on a sliding scale of $5 to $10 and those who attend the dinner get in free.
